Light as an integral part of architecture
More than 2,000 square meters of integrated LED lighting
For this shoe store, designed by renowned Belgian top architects Robbrecht and Daem, we collaborated on a lighting concept that blends perfectly with the architecture and custom furniture. Part of the lighting comes from the Italian manufacturer Viabizzuno, but the majority of the work was done in our own workshop, tailored to this project.
More than 2,000 square meters of light in the furniture
A special part of the project is the lighting of the store furniture. To integrate it completely seamlessly, we manufactured more than 2,000 square meters of integrated LED lighting in our own workshop: meter by meter, tailored to each individual piece of furniture.
The light lines are discreetly and functionally incorporated into the furniture, ensuring that shoes and leather goods are highlighted clearly and evenly.
Energy-efficient, yet true-to-life
For leather and fine materials, heat development is no small detail: too much heat can affect color and texture over time. That is why we consciously chose LED lighting with very low energy consumption, minimal heat development, and a high color rendering index (CRI).
This allows materials and colors to appear true-to-life and creates a calm lighting effect that supports the architecture without demanding the spotlight itself: a future-oriented solution where energy-efficient retail lighting, custom work, and architecture come together.
