Light that makes care softer
A lighting concept between domestic tranquility and medical precision
In this dermatology center in Schilde, light serves peace, comfort, and trust. The soft materials, rounded shapes, and natural tones give the interior a warm, almost domestic feel, and that choice is no coincidence: those who come here are often a bit more tense than usual. The lighting consciously aligns with this.
From a calm base to subtle accents
Throughout the center, we combine different types of light, each tailored to the function of the space. Indirect and diffuse light provides a calm base in the reception and waiting areas, while directional spots add subtle accents to materials, greenery, and interior details—just enough to give the eye something to rest on. Above the desk and workstations, slender linear fixtures provide functional light without visually weighing down the space.
The design of the fixtures also follows the architecture. Straight lines alternate with soft curves and round light objects, allowing the light to help determine the rhythm of the interior—soft where possible, sleek where necessary.
