Light that supports focus and ambition
In-house custom work combined with Occhio fixtures for the office of an entrepreneurial coach
Office lighting largely determines how a space feels, even before a single piece of furniture is placed. For this top coach of entrepreneurs, that called for an environment that radiates peace, focus, and professionalism without feeling cold. The sleek interior formed the ideal basis for a lighting concept in which architecture and lighting are fully aligned.
In-house custom work in combination with Occhio
For this project, we combined our own custom lighting with Mito fixtures from the German manufacturer Occhio. The specially developed lighting structures above the desks blend seamlessly with the architecture and provide even, functional task lighting. Above the meeting table, we chose the exact opposite effect: the characterful Occhio fixtures provide a refined accent there, a place where the conversation, not the work, takes center stage.
Indirect light and integrated lighting in cabinets and the kitchen also bring depth and warmth to the whole.
“An office should keep you sharp where necessary, and relaxed where possible. The right light is essential for that.”
Joris,
Lichthuis
Light that moves with the conversation
The result is an office where light is not only functional but also helps define the look: bright and purposeful at the desks where focus is needed, atmospheric and inviting around the table where conversations and ideas emerge.
