From incorrect light point to custom design
From technical challenge to design concept
In this kitchen, the planned light point no longer matched the final layout. A detail that could easily have caused frustration, but instead of hiding the problem, we at Lichthuis deliberately made it part of the design.
A graphic element as a solution
Instead of moving or hiding the existing connection, we designed a graphic lighting element that connects the outlet to the correct position above the kitchen island. This turns a technical inconvenience into a visually interesting detail.
The combination of focused task lighting and warm indirect light makes the custom piece both functional and atmospheric.
Fully custom-made, from workshop to installation
The element was fully manufactured in our own workshop and installed by our own technicians, from the first sketch to the final connection.
A technical challenge that was thus, step by step, translated into an aesthetic solution.
